Whats your diaper of choice? Why?

I was using Pampers but when they changed to the Dry Max Riley broke out severly.  Then we switched to Luvs and they leak, terribly.  I am going to the store tonight to buy something new.  What do you use and why do you like it?  Or what don't you use and why not?

  • Pampers Baby Dry are the best for DD.  We tried the Huggies Snug & Dry and they leaked.

  • We just switched to Target's up&up brand and so far so good.  Good snug fit and no leaks or rashes.  An definitely can't beat the price!
  • kirland(costco). the price is great and we have had knock on wood no leaks
  • Target Up and Up. I LOVE them. The mold with whatever activity my DS is doing so it helps to prevent leaks. I love the price, no chemical smell, and I like the plain polka dot design.

  • I actually LOVE the new Pampers Cruisers with Dry Max.  They hold a TON, and still feel dry.  Love them overnights.

Pampers Baby Dry (without Dry Max) are my next favorite.  They hold lots too, smell so nice, and fit great.

I have tried pretty much everything else on the market just to compare, and NOTHING compares to Pampers (in my opinion & experience).  I have done my own diaper study LOL>

Huggies never fit my girls properly, and left big gaps in the sides.  Target Up & Up are actually good, but aren't as soft.

Wal-Mart Parent's Choice are decent, but don't seem to hold a lot.

The other store name brands aren't very soft / stretchy...

  • Oh my yes one of my daughters has been getting a rash ever since the Swaddlers changed. And now both girls leak in them if they have their legs up in the air and tinkle! I have two cases of size 2-3's left and after that we are only going to use the baby dry. I already changed her to only using them and it has gotten a bit better. If it doesn't go completely away after that I may give Up and Up a chance, I just wish they either had girly dot's too (they are blue and green), I have heard great stuff about them.
  • I CD at home but DS uses spoises at daycare. My favorite diapers are huggies but the Target Up&Up's are pretty good too and the price is awesome!

I use BRU b/c they are very absorbent and are close to 1/2 the price of huggies and pampers.  The big boxes are like $24.99 versus about $40 for the boxes of huggies or pampers.  The only downside is they are a little bulky, but they certainly don't slow DD down or look funny in her clothes.

  • Huggies<3 I have never had a single problem with them and they give out lots of coupons.
  • We use Pamper Baby Dry and love them. We never had any issues with the Dry Max in the Swaddlers, but we still love Baby Dry even though they don't have Dry Max. Brody sleeps 10-12 hours at night and only leaks when he sleeps on his belly or daddy doesn't get the diaper on quite right :) We've never had any leaks or blowouts during the day at all.

  • Pamper Baby Dry, dry max gave DS a rash. Our BJ's gives out great coupons and we save a bundle on them.

  • Pampers Baby Dry for us.  I love how they fit DD and we've never had a leak.  We always find great sales on them too like $24.99 for the huge boxes which are normally $40.  Superstore in Canada often puts them on for this price and puts a limit of 4 boxes per customer.  We go stock up all the time.

  • huggies, parents choice or kirkland brand.   i have never been a pamper fan-although i do like their pull ups and the generic pampers pull ups from sams club.   neither of my have/had issues with pc and huggies are working great for our son right now too.
  • I switched to only using luvs after the drymax did the same thing to DD. They work great for us! They have never ever leaked and only very occasionally does she ever have a blow out.

I think if the Luvs didn't work I would have tried to Up&Up from Target. I tried huggies early on and they were terrible.

Also someone told me that the pampers baby dry are just as good as the swaddlers/cruisers with dry max but no dry max. I haven't tried them though.

  • We use cloth - Kawaii pocket diapers. www.theluvyourbaby.com

When we do use disposeables, we use Luvs. Never had a problem with them.

  • DD had a bad reaction to dry max too!

We tried Kirland, huggies, luvs, huggies pure & natural... you name it. They all leaked or caused rashes that looked like some kind of chemical sensitivity.

We switched to gdiapers with disposable inserts.  They are a little expensive but they flush down the toilet or can be thrown away. We order a case from diapers.com every month for about $50. BRU has them too.  Oh and they are SUPER cute too!

  • Huggies.  No pref on the LM or Snug & Dry

The first few weeks LO peed out of the Pampers so we switched.  Plus, I seem to find more Huggies coupons than Pampers so they end up being cheaper.
