Just wondering how you prepared it, did LO like it? Georgia can't seem to handle baby cereal, and a friend suggested oat bran (similar to Cream of Wheat).
Why cant your LO handle baby cereal? If there is a reaction then I would not do regular cereal either. The biggest difference is that the larger grains (incream of wheat/oat bran) are harder to digest and dont have iron added. If your LO is having reactions to the baby cereal then I would not try the adult cereal.
Have you tried fruit/avocado? If it is a texture issue maybe think about introducing other finger type foods.

It's not a reaction...they just make her really constipated. I thought that the "adult" cereals might be better.....

they made my DS really constipated as well as thought the same. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm planning on it.
I would try a 'whole' food like avocado or banana first. Truthfully though, I think the adult version made extra soft (cooked longer not less than recommended amount of time) would be great. DD has had some of my Cream of Wheat and did fine with it.
Rice cereal is VERY constipating. Give a container of prunes every few days. Banana is actually constipating too usually so that's not a good one to add for constipation.
Re: Anyone feed baby Cream of Wheat / oat bran cereal instead of "baby" cereal?
S eats it now as well as regular oatmeal.
