Two pancake fails this morning

I decided to make DD a batch of cute pancakes this morning. She requested pink worms. It totally looked like a plateful of sperm. (I won't even say what the syrup did, visually, to the scene.)

I made a bunch of those and then with the rest of the pink batter decided to make some "polkadot" pancakes - a tiny bit of batter, a blueberry, and a bit of batter on top. They absolutely looked like bloody eyeballs. Plus, when you bite into them, the blueberries burst in your mouth. Totally grossed out my overactive imagination.

And sorry, no pictures. Too disturbing.
