Clicky Poll: Not pregnant- buy diapers???

I am not pregnant, won't be trying for #2 for at least another 9-12 months. But I want to start building a newborn stash (we started CDing DS at 2 months). For some reason, I feel weird buying diapers for a baby that isn't even conceived. We had a little trouble conceiving DS, but blessedly not as hard as we thought it would be- I think I am nervous about jinxng myself.

What do you think???

I've already bought like 16 NB diapers for #2 and we're not TTC for several months. So I voted yes. You're not going to jinx yourself.

I don't think it is bad luck, but I do think it is a little weird.

I went ahead and bought 3 dozen infant prefolds for our un-conceived #2. They were super cheap and I couldn't help myself. I'm not going to buy anything else though until I've conceived.

I don't think it is bad luck but if it were me and I couldn't get pregnant right away I would be sad looking at the diapers.

This, personally. I'd think it would possibly make the waiting harder.

if you have the extra cash or you see something on sale I see no reason not to buy them

this ... I started building my stash when I was about 4 months along and it was fine ... plenty of time to find sales, buy used at really great prices, etc. Now I have enough to go a week to a week and a half w/out washing diapers ...
