We had a meeting scheduled for 2:30 today and he called to move it up to 10:30. I didn't plan on it, but I ended up telling him about the two m/c, APS diagnosis etc. and I may have teared up/cried a little.
How embarrassing. I think it's just because I've never really said it aloud that much. It's sad, even now. I mean they were my babies, no matter how short a time I knew them. Anyway, he said he was so sorry and shared with me that he and his wife had a difficult time. They did two rounds of IVF (1st was a ectopic pg) before they were successful. I was so shocked to hear this and grateful for his compassion.
He'll keep quiet until I get a chance (maybe in the next couple weeks) to talk to the people who will back me up while I'm gone.
Re: So, I told my boss
I'm glad you got it over with! It's amazing the things you learn about people when you share your story, isn't it? (((Hugs)))

That is such a great feeling - what a relief. And, you are so lucky to have a boss that can understand, at least a little bit.

I bet it felt great to finally have it out in the open to him though and I am glad that he seemed to really understand.

I'm so glad it went well and a boss that is very understanding. Although it must have hurt talking about it, you must have a sense if relief afterwards.
