Thick or thin semen?

Hi, I'm kind of new here. We will be TTC in the next few months. My husband is really curious about this and I haven't really been able to find any info on it. He wonders if thin or thick semen is better for conception?  The thickness changes depending on if we have a quickie (really thick) vs. lots of foreplay (thins out).  I know it's mostly the quantity that makes a difference but what do you think about thin vs thick?

    That's interesting! I've never noticed a difference. I have noticed a difference in the amount (ie haven't had sex in a while vs. just had sex recently). I wouldn't think that thick or thin would matter . . . maybe thin is more concentrated?

    I actually have noticed this. I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but have definitely noticed that it can be thick or thin.
