This May be stupid, but am I

This is my first post, as I just found out I'm pregnant. I took 2 pregnancy tests, one last Tuesday night and one Wednesday morning. I took a test where 2 lines means pregnant, one means not. Well, two lines were shown, although one was lighter than the other. But everyone is assuming I am, as my period is almost 2 weeks late. I made an appt. at my doctor's office but it isn't until July 6, at which I will be at 8 or 9 weeks. I have been reading this is normal, and the office said assume I am pregnant. Should I go to Planned Parenthood or somewhere, just to verify I am? We don't want to tell many people yet, but I'd feel better just knowing an official doctor said I was pregnant. Has anyone experienced this? It hasn't really hit me yet that I'm pregnant, I never have been before. Let me know what I should do! We are going to see my husband's parents this weekend out of state, and we want to tell them in person. Should I feel 100% confident that I am undoubtedly pregnant?
