Holy heartburn...please help

I've started to get a little heartburn here & there. With DD, it didn't start until 36 weeks or so.

What helps? I'm at work. Rolaids didn't do much. Coffee, water, coke, snack?

Are you on OTC meds?

Zantac. I really wish I had known about this with my first two pregnancies. I get hoooorrible indigestion at night. Tums and Rolaids did nothing for it. Finally I heard about Zantac this time and tried it and haven't had one painful night since then.

i have had severe acid reflux for the majority of this pregnancy and after trying 3-4 pill perscriptions i found that only Pepcid works for me. I like the chewable mint flavored kind. Recently, at night, I have been getting it so bad, my throat feels like it has knives going through it. I have been using Mallox to help coat it enough to get some sleep.

Nothing OTC worked for me so my doctor put me on Nexium.

I also say Zantac! Tums used to work but not Zantac is the only thing that will do the trick.

I take pepcid AC and TUMS. Coffee and coke would make it worse.

I take Zantac also. I think I need to start taking it 2 times a day, because by night time I am feeling it again. But throughout the day I am totally fine on it!

I've managed to have luck w/ tums. I'll take one as soon as I feel symptoms and they'll usually subside. I just hate when it wakes me up in the middle of the night. But I have some on my nightstand now for such occasions.

if you don't want to take any medicine nice cold vanilla ice cream actually helps me.

I had HORRIBLE heartburn until about 2 weeks ago and it has since disappeared. Maybe because the baby has dropped? I can't really tell but I'm happy!

Mine was pretty annoying, but not where I felt like I needed medicine. So far, whole milk and frozen, dairy-based popsicles have helped me out. Also, not drinking water while I have it or before bed...for some reason that sets it off.
