AF after m/c

I had an u/s on Friday, natural m/c is complete.  And the bleeding has stopped, I just have very little spotting still.  I know I should get my period in 4-6 weeks.  Just wondering if they start counting the weeks when my m/c started, or ended?

    I counted from when my miscarriage started.

    Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12

    Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck.  Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.

    I see oldies post about miscarriages and all it does is ruin my day.  I am so very sorry for your loss.  How much more pain must we endure?  I wish mercy and grace would just pour upon us.  I don't just don't understand.

    I think they count the first day of bleeding. I'm so sorry again that you had to go through this.

    I'm so sorry,,,but I'm glad the m/c part is over for you.

    I hope it only takes you 4-6 wks! I started counting the day m/c started, and I'm going on 7 wks
