Literally, it was at top volume!

He plunked down his credit card at the 24 hour animal hospital without even asking me. (I didn't have my purse with me, and without paying up front they would have sent my poor dog home without any treatment.) I knew i was going to marry him after that.

Favorite DH Memory/ Story: About six months after we started dating I started getting really really sick. I landed in the hospital 5 times in three months. DH is petrified of hospitals. He hates them, and doctors. But he came to visit me everyday I was in the hospital with scrabble under his arm. He would stay with me for hours playing scrabble and walking the halls of the hospital with me. My Mom told me later that she was coming out of the hospital once and saw him in his car having a panic attack. He was crying and wringing his hands. But he still came in and never let me know how he was feeling. That is when I knew 100% that I was would spend the rest of my life with him. I booked the venue for our wedding the day I got released from the hospital for the last time, two months before he proposed.

He got up and laid on the floor with them under a blanket until they fell asleep. All this from the guy who said- what!? we're fostering 3 dogs!! :-)

Favorite DH Memory/ Story: DH surprised me and took me to my favorite amusement park. We were still dating and he told me he was starting work a week earlier than he really was so he could plan this surprise (which meant he had to get his mom involved if I called too early before he was "supposed" to be home from work). I was sleeping one morning and woke up to him there telling me to get out of bed and take a shower. He would lay out my outfit and then I should come downstairs for breakfast (he brought my fav breakfast at that time!). Then he took me and didn't tell me where we were going. While we were there he even bought me one of my fav foods that they sell, and then on the way home picked up Subway for us and spent the night! I thought he was going to propose that day, haha. It was the only thing that would have made the day better, because the day was WONDERFUL.
