freezing food question

in Babies: 6 - 9 Months

So I'd like to premix some banas with some other fruit & freeze it so the babysitter isn't so put out by having to mash a banana.  Do bananas freeze or do they just turn black once it's defrosted?

    I'm pretty sure it'll probably go brown when it's defrosted.

    You pay her to watch your LO..I would tell her to mash the banana..its take 5 seconds..

    Our frozen bananas defrost just fine. They aren't bright white/yellow anymore, but they aren't gross and M gobbles them up just as fast as fresh. DH came home with an enormous bag of ripe ones on sale one night and I just blurred up a gallon zip lock of cubes.

    I don't love my DC lady...she does the very minimum required!  I'm in the process of finding someone new..just have to wait for DH to begin his new job so we have more funds!! LOL!

    on the days I I send a banana with her & I just get theis vibe that she is put out by having to mash the dam banana. So I though I'd try pre-mixing it with another fruit , but if they turn all gross then it's pointless.  I may try it & see what heppens!
