Give me your best M/S cures

Ugh!  I was so hoping to bypass the morning sickness this time but unfortuntely that doesn't seem to be the case.  I feel pukey all the time and my mouth tastes gross.  The only time I feel normal is when I am eating and about 5 minutes after I am done eating.  Too bad nothing sounds good.

I just feel so whiney about all of this.  I had m/s till 18ish weeks with Leo and threw up randomly till the very end.

Any and all help appreciated!

  • I'm taking Zofran but I still get nauseas and before that I survived on lemon drops.  Sucking them gave temporary relief and I brush my teeth at least 5 times a day!

  • I just had the "queasies" for a couple of weeks, but what helped me was sour candy and making sure I never let my stomach get empty.  Good luck, I hope you feel better soon!

  • I used sour candy  especially sour patch kids, constant nibbling on something, mints (I ate rolls and rolls of breathsavers), really cold water (sips, too much and it made it worse), and I found some ginger candy chews at our health food store that I nibbled on.  Hope you feel better!
  • I didn't have MS, just a little queasy, and kept a pack of Ritz crackers at my side :)  I think I must have missed your BFP announcement... congratulations!!!

  • I didn't figure it out until I was almost over m/s, but healthy eating minimized my nausea.

  • Lemonheads, ginger ale and cream soda dum dums were my go-tos.

orange mint gum and not letting my stomach go empty.. I had it until 16 weeks. What helped me the most was changing my PNV.
  • I drank B12 drinks. It really helps with the nausea. I have some at home and I can give you a sample to try. PM me your appointment time and date and I will bring it to you! :)

  • Time, ginger ale, soft pretzels, and time. M/S sucks. Sorry you're going through it. Ugh.

  • I loved using the preggie pop drops -- essentially the same thing as eating sour candy.  Ginger ale was my go-to drink for the first half of my pregnancy with Tyler.  I could not, absolutely could not, have an empty stomach.  Carbs made it worse.......I had to eat veggies and protein.

this and I would fill the sink with hot water and pour lemon scented cleaner in, everything smelling like lemons was helpful.

  • I had it really bad for about 18 weeks.  I took Zofran which helped, but I still occasionally threw up even with Zofran.  Everytime I tried to brush my teeth I would throw up, so I switched to kids toothpaste instead of using the regular minty kind -- that helped. Good luck!
  • a zofran pump and a constant IV pole haha but for not as extreme morning sickness I would really recommend asking for a prescription for zofran (specifically the dissolvable tablets which are easier on the stomach) in the beginning the ginger chews helped a little and sucking on lifesavers, I also LOVED minute maid cherry limeade frozen ice cups--the combo of cold and sweet and tangy/sour was one of the only things I could stomach

Ive also heard alot of women doing well with potato chips and lemonade (weird combo but something about the carbs/saltiness of chips and tartness of lemons helped) GL! m/s is the ABSOLUTE worst :-(
