i forget...

are pregnant people allowed to have honey?  or is that just kids 0-1yr?

Re: i forget...

  • 0-1yr only.  Their immature gastric systems are unable to properly kill the bacteria usually present in honey (a form of botulism iirc).  If you were able to eat honey before and not get sick, you're fine.

    Yes

  • Local honey also builds up your immunity to seasonal allergies It is a great natural aide if you have allergies and are trying to cut down on the meds you have to take for them.

Oh I didn't know that! But thank you, I love honey! I almost got scared when someone questioned honey and pregnancy.
