Aside from sharing updates with friends and family, what else do you plan to do with your blog? I was thinking it'd be cool to save a hard copy for Adrian one day, but that would probably mean printing out each entry. Because who knows what technology will be like when the LOs are older and our internet blogs are obsolete!

    I started printing mine out once/month to send to my grandmother since her hearing is so bad that the only way to communicate w/ her anymore is by letter.  I'm sure she's keeping them, but I'd like to put them in a book of some sort too.

    Since all of our close family and friends live in our area, our baby blog is only for the baby. We were planning to just give him the link when he's older and he can view it online. I don't think it'll go away anytime too soon but I think we can probably export it somehow (I haven't looked into this yet though) so you can keep a backup on your computer, but I would prefer not to print it since it would be a hefty print job and use too much paper. If they don't have an archive/export option, then I'd just print it to PDF using CutePDF (which is a free software) and keep that on my computer. Good point about this! I wouldn't have thought of this until you brought it up!

    One of the main reasons I am blogging my pregnancy journey is to make a book out of it and give it to LO when she gets older. I am using Blogger and it has a function where you can export it straight to a book so no need to print out each page. I know there are other programs out there that you can use as well (Blurb is one).
