Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Exercise question...

If you're not supposed to use a jogging stroller until 6 months how are you supposed to run in the mean time?

What is your plan for exercise?  I have 2 weeks to go and I'm going stir crazy sitting around, I just want to lose the baby weight.

  • You're not, with a baby.  You're supposed to run by yourself until then.  They don't have the neck strength to tolerate the bouncing until then.

  • DH watches LO when I work out. I have twenty freaking pounds to lose still so he's more than happy to help me out.

  • you just don't take the baby with you :) or get a treadmill and run on it while LO is napping-- that's what i do most of the time.

  • I very lightly jog with the baby, but mostly powerwalk. He lays completely flat and doesn't bounce much at all.

  • My jogging stroller accommodates a car seat, but I don't know how comfortable I'd feel jogging with it.  Maybe on a track...
