POAS Update

I POAS late nast night and it was a definite negative. I POAS this morning and I thought I saw a very faint line. So I took the strips out of the casing (neurotic much?) and compared them. Definitely no line last night's test. Definite very very faint line this morning's test.

WTF. Should I call my OB?

I have the Mirena, and I've never had a period since having it inserted. My IUD definitely moved (when I had the placement checked it was way high up in my ute and OB had to do a u/s to find it. No strings. I stabbed DH like a week ago with the strings. So we know it moved). I have an appt with my OB on Thursday anyways to talk about my crazy IUD side effects/stabbing issues.

Definitely ask for a blood test then. Keep us updated! If it is a BFP, I'm so envious!

Oh my goodness. Yes, I would absolutely call your OB. Keep us posted. I'm sorry you are dealing with this.

Sounds like you are KTFU! Welcome to the 2u2 club... what's your OB going to do with the mirena? Cuz I remember you mentioned something about possibly requiring surgery to remove it because it was that far up in there....

You are probably preggers because you tested this am with morning urine (more concentrated). I would call the OB asap because the mirena might cause damage to your embryo the longer it says in place. Congrats!!!!!!! Big Smile

Mine did that when I tested for Buggie. I ending up getting the tests that say, "PREGNANT" or "NOT PREGNANT." I mean, how could I misread those? They are a lil pricey, but they were cheaper than an appt & blood test w/ my OB (even with insurance).

Take another test but use a digital vs the line. It is so much easier to read pregnant or not pregnant then to guess on if you actually see a line. I'd also test tomorrow and call the OB (just tell them you may be pg and need it confirmed).

I would test tomorrow morning and then if its positive, cal the dr.

I wouldn't, however, use a digital yet. If you are getting very very faint lines then a digital probably wotn pick it up yet since they are less sensitive and it would be a waste of money. Those things are pricey! Get a dollar tree test. Only a buck and work the same as any other test. Actually i got my BFP on it at 9 dpo, before i got it on first response!

That's why I haven't bought a digital. I have an appointment with my OB on Thursday already, to get my IUD removed. I probably won't test again, since I'm going to see her in 4 days anyways

I would just wait till your appt, if you can handle that. I think that I would have peed on 20 sticks by now. You can't be a little bit pregnant, so if there is a faint line, you most likely are!!! I am completely jealous too!

It sounds like you're PG. I just wanted to day GL, I remember you saying now wasn't the best time. But with this and the rest of your symptoms it's very likely you are.

I tossed them both =( I could dig them out of the trash but that's a little too obsessed for me, LOL! I promise I'll keep you guys updated when I find out what the heck is going on with my body.

Whew! That would drive me nuts. I can't imagine why you'd get a line, faint or not, if you aren't pregnant. It would be really hard for me to wait until Thursday, but I'm not sure what else you can do, except test again tomorrow or Tuesday. Good luck!
