Pregnant after a Loss

You have to be kidding me!

I just read on the local news website that another part of my route to the hospital is under construction!

My route now has two areas where the road loses a lane and they all shift and then another part where one of the roads is completely shut down and I have to take an alternate road. What should be a 40 minute drive is  now going to be an hour and a half at best! (not during rush hour) Central NJ traffic is all stop and go and a disaster to drive in.

I am really considering staying at my IL's house close to my due date because the house is 20 min from the hospital. I am so glad we did not decide to sell it!

  • Oh no!  I'm sorry about the road construction...so annoying!  At least your IL's house is closer.

  • I imagine this is the same construction my parents were screaming about yesterday.  You would think they would either get things done on time, or stop blocking off multiple roads.  Then again, it's Jersey so....

I hope you're able to work things out!

  • Oh, that sucks.

Staying at the in-laws from like 36-37wks on, sounds like a good plan to me.
