Do you have any irrational fears?

Baby related or not?

I've been having recurring dreams that when I go into labor with this baby things happen exactly as they did with DD's delivery, which was pretty awful.

Irrational, I know, what are the chances that things will go exactly as they did the first time?

Still, I think pregnancy makes me paranoid of some ridiculous things lol:)

    I worry about the effect of my laptop actually being on my lap. I use it on the couch and most of the time it's right on my lap. Sometimes I put it on a couch pillow and sit indian-style in front of it. I know in my head it won't hurt LO, but I can't help but think about it.

    I also had a dream last night that LO was born premature and she came out looking like that little girl who doesn't grow as she ages (I've seen her on TLC). In my dream, I was convinced we could just "put her back in" and she'd be all better. LOL

    Yes, last night I thought that I might forget to feed my baby and she will die.  I thought this while I was throwing out another dead plant.  I always forget to water them and they die.

    Well this has now become a fear.  My SO had a dream about our next baby and that he had pretty bad birth defects.  When we brought him home the LO I'm carrying now was really scared by him and I ended up smacking her across the face because she was screaming and calling him a monster!  So now I'm worried about the next baby and if he/she will be okay!  It's crazy!

    If my plant care skills are any indication of how I'm going to care for my child, this kid is screwed!  Luckily, I've kept my dogs pretty healthy.  I think it's a little easier to forget about a plant than my dogs or a child.

    With it getting so warm this summer--and where I live it gets really cold in the winter--I've started freaking out that I will leave baby in the car seat and he/she will die. I know that this doesn't happen often, but it DOES happen sometimes...

    That, and tearing. I don't know why. The idea of pain doesn't scare me. But I'm terrified of tearing--and going to the bathroom after baby is born...

     This is preggo related but a bit of my old OCD habits coming up but I have an irrational fear that someone will poison me! Weird eh? like at work...I don't know why! Maybe because I am so concerned with not eating certain cheeses etc!! LOL. Very odd.
