(NIFR) It has been exactly six months...

...since our twins past away. They were IVF twins, so they were our miracle babies. Apparently I have a crappy cervix, so they were born at almost 23 weeks and they did not live long, but they did live long enough for us to hold them and tell them how much we loved them. The doctor said 6 months was my last milestone. I remember thinking there was no way I could live in that amount of pain for 6 months. Thankfully, I feel much better and I'm at peace with everything that happened. I am so ready to be blessed with a baby (even though I'm obviously scared sh*tless). So fertility gods, please let this be a wonderful year, and 2011 even better.

On a lighter note, we are going to L.A. tomorrow for a relaxing resort vacation. I am SO ready for this and really needed it. I will keep up with everyone on my laptop. Good luck to all who have procedures and betas this week!

    I can't imagine everything you have had to go through the past six months. I wish you the best of luck, and a restful vacation.  Thank you for sharing this with us.  
    TTC Child #1 Sept '08, Dx: Unexplained, DOR 2 IUI's = BFN, m/c, IVF 1 = 0 embies to put back, IVF 2 = BFN, IVF 3 = cancelled, IVF 4 = BFP with 1 embie. Our son came into our life on 9/28/11. We are in love! Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
