TTCALer with a question about delayed O...

 I am not sure if I should do an actual intro since I am on TTCAL and not PgAL, but I have a question you ladies might be able to answer.

 

Did anyone get a BFP with a delayed ovulation and have a successful pregnancy? If so, how delayed was your ovulation? I got pg with a delayed ovulation my first time, which I m/c, and since the m/c I have been having delayed O's. TIA!

    I was doing fertility treatments so I didn't have delayed O when I got pregnant.  I do know ladies who currently have healthy toddlers who got pregnant with ovulation as late as CD60.

    Are you charting?  If you're very concerned and are charting, you can ask your OB to run a 7dpo progesterone test.  If you're p4 level is strong on that date then you're having successful ovulation. That would be the quickest way to confirm that you are able to get pregnant without assistance.

    I o'd about 10 days late on the cycle I got this bfp and things are going very well now!  I do have to say that it's caused a little bit of a headache at times trying to get various of my drs to go with the correct date for this pg, but I had an early u/s that confirmed my late o.  I don't know how delayed you're thinking, but there have been many successful pregnancies with late ovulation.  Good luck to you - I hope we see you over here very soon!

    Hey Hun! How was your vacation! Glad you're back.

    I O'd CD 21, I think compared to other people that's kinda late. How long are your cycles usually? When is AF due?

    I ovulated on CD30 with this pg.  I know that there are lots of things to read out there the make delayed o seem very scary, but it worked out well for me this timeSmile

    Mine were always "delayed"- as soon as we started ttc, my cycles went from 28 days to "all bets are off"! So in my case, yes. GL and I hope this is your cycle!
