abdominal binder after c-section??

I had a c-section four days ago. I had purchased an abdominal binder to wear after. How soon is it ok to start wearing it? They did not mention anything about wearing one when I was discharged home. Any and all advice would help!

I was in mine the 2nd or 3rd day after c/s. The hospital gave me one to wear.

This. And I wore it for the 3 days I was in the hospital. I didn't wear one after going home.

The hospital gave me one to wear immediately after my surgery. I wore it for about a week and a half, and still put it on now when doing lots of housework, walking, errands...

I have been wearing my belly bandit since 4 days post c/s. It really helps a lot! It's already almost too big and I need to order a medium! When I first put it on it barely fit. I am only 11 days post c/s now!

they put one on me right away and i healed well and haven't had any issues so i'm guessing you're okay to go ahead and wear it!

I asked to put mine on the day after. I bought a small and it didn't fit, so the hospital gave me one a size bigger. Kind of glad I got a smaller size, so when I go home and it gets too big, I'll have my own.
