Thanks for voting! Asa was king in the Old Testament. I've never met a girl Asa...and only one boy. Certainly hope it doesn't become popular for girls!

Yup, that's where the name comes from! I've known two Asa's, both guys. I've never met a girl named Asa. Just FYI though, a lot of people will probably NN him Ace when he gets older.
