Need Help With "Rhyming Names"

I just want some feedback at this point.  My husband and I have a last name that starts with "M" and we seem to be gravitating to boy and girl first names that also start with "M."  They start to rhyme a little if we do this.  What do you guys think about these kinds of names?  Are they too "matchy" or rhyme too much if they the first name and surname start with the same letter?  We are so confused if the sound we hear from them is cute or annoying and it's a hard question to look up in a baby name book.  Would LOVE any suggestions/opinions!!!

    I am sitting here trying to think of an example.Are you talking about like Anna Anderson? I don't think that is bad. My father and I both have the same letter for first and last name but they don't rhyme at all. I wouldn't even say Anna Anderson rhymes. If you could give an example? Our names and my example have a different number of syllables. I think that is what makes it work and not so rhymey. I really liked having my first and last name the same letter but not anymore since I got married!

    Picky poet thing here, but they alliterate if they start with the same letter.  :) 

    (Yeah, I suck. Sorry.)

    Still, I don't see anything wrong with a 1st and last name with the same letter -- can you put in something different that interrupts between the first and last?  And one way to really do that is a single-syllable middle name.

    I think it depends on the last name...sometimes it works well, other times it doesn't.  We have a long French "L" last name...and it tends to not work AT ALL with L names...but that's just ours :)

    I agree with Kelz.... it really depends on the last name.  Our last name starts with Z and ends in man. 

    If we tried to do Zachary Z...man.... it wouldn't work at all.
