How long after birth...

before you can see what your LO looked like. I have always said newborns are not cute, they are all swollen and stuff. I know I will think my little guy is adorable from the start but how long before you can actually see what they look like?

    I had a c-section so he wasn't puffy after birth and was very cute.

    I had a vaginal delivery and I could see what my son looked like from like day 2.  I have a pic of him on day 2 and his little face is kind of the same.

    We had a c-section and he was very cute from the beginning.  No swelling or anything similar.

    I had vaginal deliveries both times and I would say the very next day there was a huge difference in their looks.  Super cute from the beginning though.

    I had a c-section, and Caroline was super swollen...and didn't look anything like what she looks like now, to me. 

    I look back at pictures of her and think "wow, that can't be MY baby", lol.

    Both of my daughters were born vaginally and neither one had any swelling or cone-shaped heads.  They were beautiful from the beginning ... Big Smile
