  • I don't know what it is like to be in those women's situation, but I personally think that is soooo selfish. Those poor children will having to be caring for their elderly parents at 10, 15, Really? how horrible!

I agree!  I am already depressed that I will be pushing 60 at my next child's high school graduation.  I just can't imagine that they could have quality time with their child at that age.

  • It is incredibly selfish and incredibly unethical if a Dr is performing infertility treatments to help the woman get pregnant.  I don't know if that's the case here, but I know it's happened before (specifically in India).  In one of the Indian cases I heard about, the pregnancy/labor taxed the elderly woman's body so much that she wasn't expected to recover.  It kind of pisses me off, actually.  And not because she can get pregnant (in a "why can't I?" type of way), but in a "WTF - why would anyone do that?!" type of way.

  • I totally agree ladies! Not to be mean, but one of the ladies is BLIND!

Well blind people can have babies, too! Stick out tongue  The issue is that they are about to die not whether or not they can see.

  • What I meant was that she is old and blind. She has someone taking care of her. The little boys were escorting her around the house and acting like adults.

  • Am I the only one who thinks this is unfair in so many ways?  And perhaps a bit irresponsible?
