Our little guy is home!

Finally getting a chance to sit down in front of the computer and wanted to just write a quick post that our little guy, William Clement, has arrived!

He was 8 lbs, 7oz, 21 inches long (oddly, my exact stats when I was born) and arrived at 10:23pm on June 22nd - almost exactly 24 hours after we started the induction. I will post more details later, but just wanted to say hi and thanks to everyone for all of your help throughout my pregnancy. You guys are the best!!

(About the name, in case you care, my dad, Clement William, passed away almost 3 years ago. He hated his first name. I think he would be pretty happy with this revision. Also, William means "ardent protector," which I think is a great name for a first child - so we'll have to have more!)

    Congratulations!!! He is precious! I love the story of his name and I am sure your son will feel honored when he gets older to be named after your dad! 
    A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
    After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
    My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.
