I just finished The Russian Concubine and The Girl from Junchow, both by Kate Furnivall. Both are very good novels about the rise of Communism in the early 20th century in China and Russia.
Anyway, I need some new books to read! Help me, help me!
Im in the midst of trying to find something else to read. I finally have some time with being on break from my classes but Im having such a hard time finding anything.
I'm about to start re-reading Kyra Davis' Sex, Murder, and Double Latte series. I just got the latest book last month - but I like re reading all the ones that I came before it so i can refresh my memory on the characters - and plus I LOVE them and could re-read them thousands of times!!!
I forgot to mention that I'm currently finishing up Nicholas Sparks' The Last Song. It's pretty good. I think it's the one that has a movie coming out with Miley Cyrus in it. I don't care for her...but I might go see it anyway.
I currently have 3 going... Ray Charles' Autobiography-Brother Ray. Frozen by Larry Johnson- about a company called ALCOR, they are the ones that chopped of Ted Williams' head, froze it and then abused it. And Swear Like a Trooper. Its a book about military lingo.

I'm in the process of reading the "House of Night" Series. They are pretty good books, especially if you are into the whole vampire thing. I definitely recommend them!

I started the Wicked series and was not a fan. I got through the first book and started the second when I put it down and started on the "House of Night" series.

I've heard good things about the "House of Night" series, I think I'll put that on my list. I've read the Twilight series, current on The Sookie Stackhouse series, and also current on The Hollow Series by Kim Harrison(really good series!). I haven't started Wicked yet because my aunt said it was a tough read for her. Hopefully I'll like it.
I just finished Emily's "Heart of the Matter". I really enjoyed it. I was thinking of starting on the Wicked series, but DH bought me a random cute book the other day called "Bed Rest" so I'm going to read that first so he doesn't think I don't appreciate the gift.
I read the first couple "House of Night" books, although I got a big fat stack of ARCs from Scholastic and those have distracted me
Right now I'm reading Milan Kundera's "Immortality" and I love it so far!
Soon I'm going to re-read "The Hunger Games" (Suzanne Collins) since the 3rd one is coming out in August. It's fast paced and addictive if you've not read it yet! I highly recommend it & its sequel, "Catching Fire." They're YA, which I have a weakness for anyway, but I know a lot of people who aren't into YA who love them anyway.
I've heard of the Outlander book before, but I never remember to pick it up... gotta add that to the list...
Re: What are you reading?
I'm about to start Emily Griffin's new novel Heart of the Matter.
It's due back to the library in 3 days so I need to get cracking on it.
Have you read Outlander by Diana Gabaldon?
It's historical fiction also and soooo good.

This! Just got it from the library, can't wait to start it
I really enjoyed this book, too!

I just sent the fifth book in the house of night series back to the library I couldn't finish it. The series kind of faltered off for me.
I just started reading A Reliable Wife and I am in the middle of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Both are good so far.
I can see that. I couldn't stand the first one, but my friend who recommended them was very persistent. The second was decent, though.
