Like not using white noise/heartbeat bear/fan/lullaby music/etc.
I do need to use a pacifier 1/2 of the time, but that is it so far. I'm wondering if I will start to need to use something else as he becomes more aware. I do have a heartbeat bear that was used for ds1. Hmmmm.

Not counting nursing, because that is almost inevitable that they fall asleep on the boob. Although, ds has woken up quite a few times after being nursed before bed. I've had to put him to bed wide awake at times. I can't imagine not nursing right before bed anyway. I always wanted there tummy's full.
I nurse him to sleep but I burp him before I lay him down and I don't lay him down all stealth and anxious he'll wake up. I arrange him, kiss him goodnight etc and he does stir a little but goes back to sleep every time.
We swaddle O, and try to put him down when he's tired but not asleep. We put him down awake probably 70% of the time. We do have a little fan running in the room, but that's only because our apartment is hotter than we'd like it to be so we try and keep the temp down. Other than that we don't do much to soothe him to sleep. I wanted him to be able to do it himself easily when he's ready.
