If both sets of grandparents are local, how often do you visit with them?

We see the ILs every weekend, my mom every weekend if it works for both schedules, and see my dad every other weekend or so. MIL is very needy, so we end up feeling obligated to visit with them, even though we generally don't enjoy it that much and it takes up several hours of our day (30 minute drive there, 2 hour visit and 30 minute drive home).

I wish there was more time at home to rest and work on the house and play with our baby, ya know?

Both sets of our parents live about 5 minutes away from us. We visit my parents a lot, and they come over here a lot. DH's dad is currently not speaking with us so we don't visit them.

My mom watches DD during the week and my dad was recently unemployed so he would come over a couple times a week to help. Now that he is employed we normally go to my mom's house for lunch on Sunday so my dad can see the baby and then my MILs house for dinner so they can see the baby. We do not to my mom's house every Sunday though because my dad owns a bar and sometimes he is there doing inventory etc since he now works during the week.

We live 5 minutes away from both sets of grandparents. My parents see DD almost everyday since they pick her up from the babysitter and watch her until I get off work. We also go to dinner at my parents every Sunday. Now with the IL's they see DD about 1x every 2 weeks. I'm sure MIL would be mega pissed if she knew how often my parents see DD.

We see both sets of grandparents every week. My mom and dad on Fridays and his parents during the weekend. They come to us and we go to them, there's not really any rhyme or reason to the travel, just who ever's in the mood to drive the hour to see each other.

I love it!! I'm so glad that DS is getting to see so much of his grandparents.

DH's mom & stepdad live 15 minutes away. we try to see them at least once a week. my parents are about 10 minutes away so it's about once a week as well. DH's dad lives 4 hours away so we go to SC to visit him every couple of months.

We go to breakfast on Sundays w/ my mom and stepdad. DH's parents come over on Wednesdays and sometimes we go there on Mondays. My dad lives about an hour away so we see him about 2x/month.

My parents are about an hour & 15 minutes away, DH's are about an hour. We usually see them 3 weekends out of the month. Since they are on the way to one another's we can stop there, they all come here, etc. We try to make sure there is at least 1 weekend a month we say no visitors or we aren't going anywhere. We only have Sundays off together as family days so we like to take advantage at least once a month to be on our schedule.

My mom and step dad are 2 blocks away, and my dad lives 10 mins away and inlaws live down the street. We see my mom daily, my dad maybe once a month and my inlaws about 1-2 times a month. My mom is a huge part of my kids life! My dad is super busy and is always away on business and my inlaws...hmm..not sure why they don't visit more? lol

My parents watch DS twice a week so I can go to the gym, sometimes they see him 1 or 2 other days during the week.

The IL's we have lunch with almost every Sunday and try to either have them over or go to them 2 other times a month.

Both sets of Grandparents are 20 minutes away.

My MIL lives with us, so obviously everyday. My parents live about 15 mins away, so we usually see them once a week or so. It's hard because my DH has off during the week, and works the weekends. But, my parents work the week and have the weekends off.

I would absolutely love to see my parents more, and I know they would love to be able to see their grandbabies more.

Both sets live about 30minutes away.

My parents are retired and I'm a SAHM this year.

So I see my parents at least a couple of times during the week. We don't see them on the weekend, generally, because they think that's our family time.

We see MIL once a week or once every couple of weeks. just depending on whats going on. We haven't seen her for 3 weeks. It's been awesome.

We see my Mom once a month (flight attendant). We see my Dad 4 days a week (my Dad is my boss and he comes to work with me). My MIL about twice a month. My FIL once a week.
