8 monther eating less?

Lately instead of taking 5 six-ounce bottles a day, Fay wants maybe three. She will take solids whenever I offer them (about three times a day, not including Cheerios, which she adores). Is that normal? Is it a sign that she wants to drop a feeding? On that note, I'm lost re: what her eating should look like now. It changes so much! Insight appreciated!

    We are at 6 months and our pedi said she will drink less and less milk because she is getting the nourishment from solids.  So, I assume this is what you are going though.  We just started solids a few days ago, so we have not seen any changes yet.

    Yes! I've noticed in the last couple weeks that DD has been BF much less. Like you said, she'll eat solids whenever I offer them, but could care less about BFing (except at night). I don't have any advice, but wanted to say you're not alone! Oh, and we're just going three meals a day with solids/purees. With her pur?e, I usually do little pieces of fruit, bread, cheese or whatever else we're eating. Cheese is her new favorite thing. :)
