She's starting to get into the pacifier, especially when she's going to sleep. But she often spits it out. Does anyone know how we can practice her sucking skills so she keeps it in and doesn't spit it out?

Re: Keeping pacifier in LO's mouth?
For me, thats what I like - DS spits it out when he's done. But, I have seen these. Again, I don't have any personal experience.

I'm not sure what kind of pacifiers you guys are using but we use the soothies. A friend told me about an animal that hold the pacifier in. It's a giraffe (they may come in other animals) and it has a soothie pacifier on the end of its mouth and the baby is suppose to hold on to the animal so the pacifier stays in there mouth. Now obviously she wont be able to do that for awhile but its worth a shot. I bought one, but I havent used it yet. I got mine off of diapers.com. Hope this helps!
I've tried this technique and my LO will suck on the paci harder when I tug on it. I tug on it 5-10 times and then leave him to go at it. You just have to tug gently and their instinct is to suck harder.
great - I saw this in the video a while back but forgot the details. I'll give it a try!!
