last night i was up every 2 hrs - either to pee, or i just woke up and then couldn't get comfortable again. I even broke out the body pillow to try and help but i was still up!
::raises hand:: I actually sleep better after my husband leaves for work for a couple hours before I have to get up than I do at night. I think its because I'm so exhausted from not sleeping at night! LOL
I can't sleep at all. My boobs hurt and I have such indigestion that it's bothering me no matter how I sleep. I'm dreading DH coming home tonight because I know I won't be able to sleep. I've gotten used to sleeping without him since he works out of town during the week, so the first night he is home I always have trouble sleeping. And we're going out of town tomorrow and sleeping in a hotel is a nightmare for me. I guess I'll look forward to a good night's sleep on Monday night!
Yep. Sore boobs, realizing I should pee, rattling myself out of intensely vivid dreams, restless hubby that's having a hard time sleeping too. I can't win
*raises both hands* I havent been getting good sleep at all. I have been waking up either in pain from the way I was sleeping or to pee. But sometimes I wake up to get a snack(well kind of a meal). But hopefully tonight I will be able to at least get a little more sleep because I got a pregnancy pillow.

THIS plus the dogs seem to start scratching (which makes their tags clink loudly) as I try to go back to sleep after my peebreak grr. Their crate may get moved to another room.

So off subject that picture in your siggy is so cute.. That reminds me of my youngest son.
Ugh!!! All of the above. My back was hurting so much last night, couldn't get comfortable and I had to pee like 6 times. I'm thinking of trying some Yoga. Although I have horrible balance, maybe it will help stretch me out a bit.

THIS. My dog sleeps on his bed at the end of our bed, which I have to walk past to get to the bathroom. I have to wake up at 4:50am anyway, which is awful, and inevitably the dog will come and stand on his hind legs and lick my hand or just sniff loudly near me about a half hour before my alarm goes off. My boobs are also super sore and I'm a belly sleeper, so that's rough, and laying on my side I get uncomfortable. It's awful. I wish men had symptoms, even for a week, so they could actually understand what we're going through instead of them just assuming they get it.
I usually only have to pee once or twice a night (3 on a bad one), but more than half the time it takes me a really long time to get back to sleep. Like, an hour or two of tossing and turning.
I'm beginning to be able to feel my uterus down there, and even though it doesn't hurt and is technically okay, it feels weird to sleep on my stomach. That's my favorite sleeping position. My second favorite is my back, and I'm trying to avoid that because I know it will be a no-no later on in pregnancy, and I don't want to encourage the habit. But sleeping on my side has been really hard on my neck, and uncomfortable overall. I think I need new pillows, but I don't know what kind.
I'm so frustrated. If I go to bed any earlier, it will still be light out. If I get up later, I won't have much time to get ready in the morning. I don't know how to get more sleep.
I feel like a baby that doesn't know how to soothe itself. I hope this isn't a bad omen for things to come next year...
I'm actually doing pretty good sleeping right now...I do get up once or twice a night to sleep but I'm not staying awake. I can't say its the best sleep I've had, but, knowing whats right around the corner in this pregnancy - since this is number 3 for me - I know I'm doing pretty good. Once the 2nd trimester hits sleep becomes a wee bit more challenging and then almost non existant in the 3rd. Do, I'll take what I can get now and be thankful I guess. Its also the only time I don't feel sick to my stomach, so, I try to close my eyes a lot!
I have not been sleeping very well AT ALL. My back hurts, my hips are starting to spread so they hurt, my boobs hurt, my legs are sore. My puppy has determined that he can only sleep in the bed with me and my hubby. He's only 3 pounds but he likes to lay on my side and take up lots of pillow space. I need to get my wisdom teeth out but can't until after the baby is born. I'm having crazy dreams and my husband is deploying to Afghanistan in October. Body pillows do not work. I have to pee all the time. I'm sad that everyone can't sleep but it feels good to know that I'm not the only one.
Thank goodness I thought I was the only one. I had to move to the guest room last night and finally got a good sleep after many nights of being awake at all hours.
I get the sore boobs and the needing to pee - but more than anything, it's not being able to turn my mind off! I have all these anxious and excited thoughts!
Oh yeah, the nightmares and other super vivid dreams do not help at all!
I've always had particularly vivid dreams, but they are just out of control now. I know they're not helping matters.
Last week I woke up in the middle of the night with a sore neck, which later that day I realized was the beginning of a day-long migraine. It hurt so much I had been dreaming that someone was biting my neck and wouldn't let go. It was the kind of dream where you wake up screaming. Needless to say, I didn't get back to sleep for a while...

Thanks! He is a handful!
I'm hot even with AC, the body pillow annoys me, my underwear is riding up, I get up 4 times to pee, my boobs hurt...
a friend of mine who's 8 months told me she gets up less to pee now than in the first tri so maybe it will get better.
