Follow up to big boy bed post...WDYT

We are probably moving in the next month (we will know for sure tomorrow) I was thinking of talking up the big boy room and big boy bed and put the new bed at the new house to start.  Do you think this would be too much or an ideal time to start the transition.

    For us, we wanted to transition DS1 before DS2 was born, so he wouldn't feel like the baby was taking his bed. That is how we knew it was time - he wasn't climbing out of the crib or anything. I think that it would be a really good time to transition him to the big boy bed when he gets to have his room set up, etc. And that way you wouldn't be tempted to just put him back into the crib when/if it doesn't go well at first. And if the crib isn't in the room/house, he wouldn't have the option of going back in there. Good luck!
