central mass moms, places to go with crawler

Hello,

I live in North central and my friend, who has a crawling 14mo lives in South central. We are looking for good places to meet in the middle. Any where off 495 or near Worcester works. A park would be nice but there would need to be shade, because my lo can't have sunblock yet. Her little one hates to be in the stroller and just wants to crawl around so it's tough finding a place that's clean enough for her to get down on. I haven't been to a McDonald's play area in a while. Anyone know of one with an area for little ones?

    There's a McDonald's with a big play area on the Westborough/Northborough line, right on Rt 9 W.  It's probably less than 10 minutes off 495.  I haven't been in the play area myself, but it looks nice from the outside.  HTH!

    Destination Maternity (Rt. 9 in Natick) offers free classes. On Fridays there is a Baby Sign Language class. It's very casual and the kids and crawl and play, and the parents can learn some new songs/sign language.

    McDonald playplaces are really for older kids. My DD is 2 and still has a nard time getting up them.

    There is a really nice park in Acton across the street from the pool. Natick Mall has an indoor place space that is nice.

    the auburn mall has a little indoor play area, theres not much to it but the LO could crawl around and you two could chat... its by the food court
