My DH is not much into lingerie, which has saved me a little money.  So it made me think of a poll!

Is your DH into any kind of lingerie?  If so, which kinds/parts?

    DH used to buy me lingerie when we were engaged. Lately I've been feeling more like a science experiment than an actual woman, so sexy isn't exactly in my vocabulary right now.

    Nope mine likes me nude and in heels... He thinks it's a waste of time to get off... LOL Lazy I think so!

    My dh's fav is a jean mini skirt with heels. I've bought lingerie for myself, but i rarely wear it!

    Not really.  I think he prefers nothing at all.  The only thing he's commented on are boy shorts (which he calls booty shorts).

    He's not into it. The only thing he's ever cared about are thigh-highs. He breaks for thigh-highs especially if they have lace at the top. I also bought myself a few pair of boy shorts just for lazing around the house and he thinks I bought them for him.

    DITTO! Someone could make a lot of money making lingerie for TTTC couples...playing off of a weird-science theme, maybe! But back in the day...hubby loved any nightgown (probably could have been one of my grandma's) as long as I didn't have anything on underneath!

    This with high heels as well...he likes all the other stuff also. But when it comes down to it these two say on at all times from the beggining to the end!

    My DH likes it, but we're both too cheap to buy it!  I think the semi annual sale is going on now...maybe I should get something and surprise him :)

    DH has never bought me any.  And the only time I wore any was the first time we had sex.  We'd been out for a few group outings and that time he and several friends came up to visit me in Milwaukee for Summerfest concert.  I let a married couple have my bed room and another couple have the spare so he was going to sleep on the living room floor and me on the couch.  Since he hadn't made too many moves I wore this silk white thing that barely covered my butt.  He got the hint, and we've been together ever since.  Every now and then I pull that out and put it on, and he laughs because it's off in about three minutes.

    TTC since July 2009. Dx MFI & LPD. 
    IUI#1&2&3 (2011 & 2012) BFN
    IUI#4 1/23/13 on 75iu x9 Follistim = BFP then chem preg m/c (Feb 2013)
    IUI#5 BFN (April 2013)
    IVF w/ICSI Oct. 2, 2012 - 13R, 11M, 7F, 1 frozen blast 4BB grade - - - FET Nov 15, 2013
    BFP! Beta 1:104 @ 10dp6dt, Beta 2:178 @ 12dp6dt,  beta 3:366 @ 14dp6dt
    Saw heartbeat twice before missed M/C at 8w3d on 12/27/13, missing my little angel boy
    JUNE 2014 IVF#2;  5R, 2M, 1F Three day transfer 6/7.  Beta 6/18 - BFN

    It usually doesn't stay on long, but my DH likes pretty much everything.

    ~SAIF/PAIF/Everyone Welcome~ 

    Me= 37 and DH = 41 

    Dx: DOR, Endo, APA+ (really high beta 2 glycoprotein antibody and high everything else tested), heterozygous MTHFR mutation, positive for lupus anticoagulant, high FSH, low AMH and both tubes blocked (per HSG on 3/8/11)

    IVF #1 - long lupron (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 4 retrieved, 3 fertilized; ET 2 blasts and 1 frozen = BFN

    IVF #2 - a version of antagonist with EPP (with HGH, intralipids, lovenox and BA); 6 retrieved, 4 mature, 3 fertilized, 2 blasts and 1 frozen blast transferred on day 5 = BFN.

    IVF #3 April was postponed to May, May was canceled. June/July was canceled. Had a cyst aspiration and then began IVF #3 in August. ER on 8/22; ET on 8/24 with AH. +HPT on 9/5. Beta #1 (11dpo) = 3; Beta #2 (15dpo) = 29; Beta #3 (17dpo) = 60; Beta #4 (19 dpo) = 118. Heartbeat at 6 weeks 6 days =132.  Lil is here!

    TTC#2:  Trigger + TI = BFN; Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN.

    IVF #4:  BCP + MDLF + Lovenox = 7R, 1F = Transferred 1 6-cell embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #5:  MDLF + Lovenox = 4R, 1F = Transferred 1 10-cell compacting embryo on day 3 = BFN

    IVF #6:  (New RE):  Long Antagonist November 2014 (transferred two 8 cell grade 1 embryos and froze one blast) = BFN

    FET#1:  BFN

    DH likes it but it also never stays on long.  I think the thing he liked best is his Yankee jersey with nothing else.  Anniversary is tomorrow maybe I should buy something special for him.

    I have cute stuff, but we always seem to not use it! One time I got all dressed up though and even used rollers in my hair. It worked well!

    Great story related to lingerie-When DH and I were dating we walked by a VS in the local mall and I asked with an evil grin, "Would you ever go in there and pick something out for me?"  DH is quite shy and reserved, so I knew he'd just die if he had to go in and risk seeing someone he knew (like a former student).  His reply, "No.  I'd give your sister $50 and tell her to go buy you a girdle."

    I knew he didn't have any idea that a girdle is not exactly sexy lingerie but decided to pretend to be really offended.  He was mortified when I explained what a girdle was.  He had a corset in mind and got his words mixed up....

    I still tease him about my girdle.

    DH doesnt mind it one way or the other. But i love wearing it myself.

    DH is frugal.  So lingerie is a waste of money in his mind since you remove it pretty quickly.  He would much rather I'm just naked :)  I try and mix it up with heels and hats and pearls, etc.  But not clothing.

    Ooo, Gym - you nasty girl! Now you have to share.. and please don't tell me you wear a horse tail. :)

    As for my dh he looooves me in lingerie and heels. If he had his way I would always be in thigh highs, but I absolutely HATE them. I own 1 pair and it has to be a special occasion for me to bust them out for him.

    Mine loves it! but is soo picky. i have a few pieces that i've gotten at fredericks but the first time we went, i would pick out stuff and he would veto. so now i never shop without him!

    even though i'm only 15 weeks and have not gained a pound, i feel like a house! so i don't wear it, then 2 weeks ago he asked me to put some on! it made me feel good. :) of course like everyone else, it comes off in 2 mins, but he still digs it. Wink
