Can ya'll help me out? I am having some of my friends over on Saturday night and I need some finger food ideas.
What I know I am making:
chicken salad and croissants
a cheeseball
fruit skewers with dip
funfetti cupcakes
ETA
I think instead I will do:
pesto crostini
veggies (carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, cherry tomatoes) and ranch dip
chicken salad with croissants
citrus and pecan salad
fruit skewers with dip
funfetti cupcakes
Does this sound good? Is it enough? There will be 8 of us.
I know I need a couple of more things but I am blanking. No spinach dip or anything made with spinach because one of the girls is allergic to spinach. Can ya'll give me any ideas? Thanks!
Re: NBR: Finger food ideas
You already have something w/ chicken, but buffalo chicken dip has become one of my party go to items..
www.buffalochickendip.com
I serve it with celery and/or tortilla chips.
Also love a 7 layer mexican dip...lots of recipes online and you can substitute the things you're not fond of...
Other ideas:
sandwhich pinwheels (frozen at Sam's or Costco, check for spinach)
mini quiches (same as above)
something snacky like jazzed up chex mix
olive, pepperoni and cheese tray
Hope this helps!
This does sound yummy...love hummus!
I think your menu looks delicious and should be plenty for 8, but here are a few more ideas that are quick to make, yummy and easy to eat:
