I think we're going to try it next month but I was just curious who here has had it work for them? Did it take the first time? What day did it finally click? Thanks!!!
It really worked for us. DD had 0 accidents on day 3, 2 on day 4 and has been accident-free since (including nights and at nap). She has been in undies full time since day 1 and we haven't looked back.
It worked for us. I am not sure which day it clicked for pee but it definitely clicked for poop at the end of day 1. By day 3 he definitely was going pee on the potty with less accidents but I didn't consider him completely PT'ed for about a week or so. That being said on day 3 we felt comfortable taking DS out of the house without worrying that he would have an accident, which he did just fine.
Do you have a copy of Lora's 3 day method? If not, I can forward you a copy.
We did it last Wed-Fri. By the end of Thursday (day 2) he didn't have much more than damp spots in his underwear. Pretty much from that day on, he never had more than a small damp spot on his fly, which the author doesn't consider an accident because they stop themselves and go in the right place. The dampness has slowly been going away too, and today he hasn't had it once, on technically day 7.
Poop on the other hand is a problem still. But I guess I can handle that for now. He's dry all night and day, 2 pairs of poopy underwear, after 10+ dirty cloth diapers a day is nothing. I am pulling out the big bribery guns now though to try and nudge him in the right direction.
