FML ... I hate Silly Bandz!

If your children don't have them ... thank your lucky stars! If they do ... you can feel my pain! And if your a teacher like me, and can't stand them ... I'm with you!

My SD didn't have any, and I was gonna keep it that way. Then her BM got her some this week. She knows I cant stand them and so she put them in her pocket when she got in the car with me. So then when I take her clothes to wash them upon arriving home... (her BM lets their clothes spoil in the wash and then doesn't rewash them before she puts them in the dryer ... YES I KNOW! disgusting!)

So I throw them in and then half way through she says ... where are my silly bandz? "I don't know babe, where'd you leave them, better yet why do you have them?" and yet there they are floating in my washer. I had to fish them out and found two wrapped around big thing in the middle of the washer. GAHHH! I'm so annoyed!

    ugh I know what you mean & I'm not even a teacher.  Mandi brought some home and got Michelle hooked on them.  The wierd thing is that Michelle wont wear them...just fiddles with them...yes I have a strange child lol

    teacher here ... I hated them in my class this spring. I don't even UNDERSTAND them.  I don't get WTF is the big draw? So weird.

    I can totally understand hating them as a teacher...but as a mom...$2-3 for pure happiness is CHEAP.  I'm happy to spend that every once in a while for a little peace and quiet :-)

    If you were a teacher ... you would understand why I hate these things so much!

    and FML is just an expression! (But when silly bandz could possibly break your washer ... that's how you feel.) And I am pregnant ... i'm dramatic all the time! Stick out tongue

    I was just thinking how wonderful they are!  My 3 girls were kept busy all afternoon for under $10.  :)
