I'm sorry, but THEY are mad at YOU? Please be joking.
I don't know if they're "mad" but they're not talking to me b/c I'm pregnant and hormonal, you know b/c what they said to me wasn't at all nasty. It's all about me overreacting.
You are an amazing person!!! I'm so sorry your family continues to put you through all of this bs. ((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))
Babywearing, cloth diapering, formula and breastmilk feeding, still can't believe I'm a mom, momma to my little man, two furbabies, and two angel babies.
I can't believe your parents are not talking to you. I am sorry this is happening. Don't let it get to you but rather take advantage. I think it was lame for you to find out from your sister rather than your parents themselves.
On another note, will this "not talking" give you a break for a little while?
I can't believe your PARENTS are acting like this... what are they 12... seriously who does that to their own children and have one child tell their other child they aren't talking to them... ummm okay... sending you big hugs and maybe it is good you'll have a break from them.

A Butterfly lies beside us
like a sunbeam
and for a brief moment,
its beauty and glory
belong to our world.
But then it flies on again.
And though we wish it could have stayed
we feel so lucky to have seen it.
In loving memory of MrsTyson's precious Julia.
thanks, my sister is pushing me to talk to my dad over the weekend to bury the hatchet.
I mean, I get it, they're my parents blablabla, but I hate being the bigger person (regardless of actual size) and I don't WANT to be the grown up, but for Xavier's sake, I might have to.

I really hate when people play the "overreacting" card. It's such bs. It reminds me of the whole "eggshell skull" rule in the law - you take your victim as you get them. If you injure someone who is fragile you can't turn around and blame the injury on their fragility. Same thing here. Even if you are overreacting (which I don't think you are), they are still the ones that caused the injury and they are still at fault and responsible for the full damages.
I'll take my nerdy lawyer hat off now.

What Jen said. I think this is a blessing in disguise as I see no good that has come from you talking to your parents. Roll with it. Love it.
Re: I hate being the bigger person, so get this
Wait, are we sisters? I definitely have the same parents.

Really? They aren't talking to you because they said they refuse to call your son by his name?
I am VERY sorry if your parents are like mine. I swear they get worse as they get older.

Do they live in OppositeWorld? Cause, I really don't see how they can be mad at YOU.
Wanna come live here? My mom would totally adopt you.

I'm very sorry for you as well. It's an additional stress that no one should have to deal with. ((hugs))

they're not talking to me b/c of my reaction to their dislike of Xavier's name.
Like, what, I was supposed to be happy when they told me it was a terrible choice? sure. keep smoking that crack parents.
