Trouble TTC

Surgery update

Thanks for all the thoughts. Much appreciated, as always. You guys know you rock, right?

I am home & resting. I am in more pain this time than last, but the nurse said that was to be expected since it wasn't all that long ago that I had the first d&c. We won't know until Monday whether the tissue they got is what has been causing my numbers to refuse to go down, or if I will need yet another metho injection.

I seriously lucked out with my recovery room nurse. She had 4 losses and spoke to me like a friend and not a nurse. She also gave me personal advice about testing, doctors, etc. It may sound dorky, but I won't ever forget how sweet & helpful she was.

Love & luck to my 3TC girls. Congrats to Omega-The boys are here!
If there's one thing I've learned while waiting my turn,
it's that in each life some rain falls but you also get some sun.
After 2 years & 2 losses, our little man arrived 8-2011.

Re: Surgery update

  • I've been waiting for your update! *delicate hugs*  I'm sorry you're in pain.  I really hope you heal quickly (in every way possible) and can move on.  And how wonderful that you had that nurse - like you were meant to meet her when you did.

I am so sorry you are in pain.  I hope you heal quickly and that this d&C got what was causing your beta to stay up.  I hope that this is confirmed on Monday.

It is not dorky that you won't forget that nurse.  I am so happy that you had someone caring, understanding and helpful there for you.  You have been through so much, it is just great that you can find some support through it from your health providers.
