We're going as a family to our god son's birthday party. This is the first time we've done a family water anything and I'm wondering if I should put on a one-piece instead of a two-piece suit?
Wear whatever you normally wear. I mean, perhaps like an itty bitty bikini with a thong bumbum might not be appropriate, but I think a normal bikini is more than fine.
We went to a family swim party recently and most of the mom's I saw were in one pieces or tankinis. I did see a few in bikinis, but not many. I would wear what YOU are comfortable in, but of course keep it tasteful!
My stretch marks aren't ready to get into a two-piece yet, but I would wear something that is comfortable, however, I myself would be wearing a one-piece to a family party because I have a little stinker who likes to pull at my top. At our neighborhood pool I'm a little more loose because they are mostly strangers, but with people I know I'm going to see again, I don't want to flash any boob.
Re: Appropriate swim suit for childrens' party...
I would advise against a thong.
Seriously though, what difference does it make as long as it's tasteful and you are comfortable?
