nursery decor question

The girls' cribs are going into the corners of the room and we want to put up framed pictures above the short ends of the cribs.  (Does that make sense?)

What size would you think they needed to be?  Would 8x10 be big enough or should we stick with 11x14 or bigger (size is include frame.)

Also, would it drive you crazy if the two frames weren't the same size?

    I think 11x14 would look more balanced in the space over a crib, but it really depends on the room.  i.e. how big the wall is, how tall the ceiling is, what else is on the wall etc.  

    As for whether or not the frames match, to me it depends on whether or not the rest of the room is decorated symmetrically or not.  

    Sorry, I know that's not really an "answer."

    My big boy is bounding towards 4! Baby brother coming in October!
