thanks to all the toddler moms

who in the past have all given me various bits of toddler advice, especially the bits about how toddlers really respond to being talked through situations and given lots of advanced warning before leaving places, etc.

last week was a struggle at MDO with lots of tears (from both of us), so over the weekend, we practiced saying goodbye to mama and talking about what she does at school and then mama comes back and everything is all good again.

so yesterday, we told the dogs goodbye and the way up to school practiced saying goodbye.  when we walked in her classroom, she looked up at me and said, love you bye bye and went off to play.  NO TEARS!  it was great Smile
