My baby boy spent nine days in the NICU, and came home with a horrible diaper rash complete with open sores. They switched him from Pampers w/dry max to Huggies and said that it seemed he was having a reaction to the Pampers.
So, now, I have several boxes of Pampers at home - BIG boxes of sizes N, 1 and 2. I have no idea where I bought them, nor would I know which receipts to use to return them. Has anyone had any luck contacting Pampers about this problem? I thought I read that Pampers had responded to some people, but that was awhile ago.... I bought Huggies and will just ditch the Pampers if needed, but I think Pampers should stand behind their products! It's not just my baby who is reacting - it seems to be a common problem!
TIA for any info!
Re: Pampers Problem - What to do?
THIS! I took some back to Target from my shower and if you don't have a reciept they just give you a store credit / gift card....then you can go buy what you want.
My boy was in the NICU for 9 days too (Ironically we're in NE OH too, he was at Akron Children's) and came home with a NASTY diaper rash. I swear it's because they only change his diaper when they do his vitals every 3 hours before he eats. E like to poo right after eating so he'd sit in it for 3 hours! When I was there I would change it ASAP adn by the end of the day it would be a little less irritated. Then I would leave for the night and by the next mornign it would be bad again.
So I'm hoping maybe something like that is contributing to it too.
I was at Hillcrest!
My pediatrician is affiliated with Akron Children's, so that's where we will be going for the little guy....
How is everything going for you now?
