::: WW/ Weight Loss Check In :::
Welcome ladies! This check in is open to anyone and everyone who would like to have some accountability losing weight. We?ll check in every Wednesday and share if we lost any weight, recipe ideas ? include points if doing WW, snacking recommendations, exercise ideas, and motivational tips. Please do not feel obligated to post your weight, you can just post your pounds lost this week (or gained, I know I?ll have a few of those weeks). Please feel free to suggest anything you?d like to see here!
QOTW: It is very important that you never skip breakfast. So what do you normally eat for breakfast?
Re: ::: WW/ Weight Loss Check In :::
This weeks weight: **7.8
Weight lost: -6.7 lbs
Now, I should mention that last Tuesday, Jason and I went to a Chinese buffet for dinner. So I?m assuming that my last weeks weight was up a few pounds due to that.
This past week, food wise, I feel I did really well! I kind of over did it at the Fathers Day BBQs. Because like I had said in the forums, I think I felt worse than DH did! And food is my comfort. As for exercise? ha! There was none. I didn?t even go for a walk this past week. I do need to work on that also.
QOTW: Breakfast is usually one of two things. I usually have a bowl of cereal, either Multi Grain Cheerios (which I love!), Kix, or Cornflakes. I buy all 3, and always eat the Multi Grain Cheerios first. Regular cheerios, I can?t do for some reason, the multi grain ones are sweeter.
If I don?t have cereal, I have egg and cheese on a bagel. I love those Bagel Thins, that are only 2 points. Plus an egg, 2 points and a slice of cheese is 2 points. So 6 points for a breakfast isn?t that bad. If I wanted to bring that down I use egg whites for 1 point and a slice of FF cheese (no, not fertility friend cheese) for 1 point, so that?s only 4 points! Mmmm I love that breakfast, but I haven?t had cheese in awhile and it?s just not the same without the cheese.

I have to write and run. lol, b/c I'm meeting a friend for breakfast!
But, it looks like I've only lost about a pound in the last week. However, I can't be certain due to me having to buy a new scale, and I think they were a little off anyways. But, I'll go with a pound!
A pound is great!!! They say it's the healthiest too.

I'm a Lifetime member of WW - but haven't returned since the loss. I couldn't dive right back in and my hormonal body wasn't craving good foods
But I'm back where I'm eating right and my goal this week is to prepare my dinners like I used to. I think since the loss I've lost 11-12 pounds, but am holding still at this current weight and need a kick start this week. I'm also exercising - water aerobics, biking, yoga, and walking.
QOTD: I wake up hungry! I have a bowl of cereal or oatmeal.

Ugh - no loss for me. I swear I have been fighting with the same 3 lbs. for a month!!! Up, then down, then back up, then down. I am starting to wonder if something is up with my thyroid. I did have my CD 3 bloodwork done in February and I guess it looked fine then (at least I am pretty sure they checked my thyroid). I just don't understand. I have been working out 2-3 times a week for around 6 weeks now and nothing. I won't say that I have been perfect at tracking my calories and eating right all the time, because I haven't, but this is really frustrating!!!!
I will be off work for 5 weeks and I plan to take a class at the gym 4 days a week, plus use the elliptical too. The scale has just got to move - down!!!!
I am bad - I don't eat breakfast - I normally just have coffee in the morning. I will work on that too!!
I totally did really good last week and was down about 5lbs.... I know it's totally water weight but i do extreme Bootcamp workouts and watch my calorie intake, But then the weekends hit and I like to play and go out to eat with DH too much!!!! So all in all, I've lost about 2lbs....
I"m horrible about not eating breakfast!!! Sometimes I'll have a late mid morning breakfast of either yogurt or oatmeal though!!!
Oh yay I'm excited for this check in. I'm a new member. Since March 24, I've lost 25 lbs. I work out about 5 times a week and cut out all starches after lunch time and only eat non white starches. My goal is to lose 50 more by the end of September so I've been kicking it into high gear.
I try to eat breakfast and have a protein like eggs but I hate eggs lol.
I'm down about 2lbs now.
My DH and I have a bet that whoever loses the greatest percentage of weight loss each week wins the week, and the loser has to mow the grass (exercise as punishment lol). I was SO disappointed last week because the scale didn't move AT ALL. But since then my body is cooperating.
I'm trying to do the couch potato to 5k, and I just learned that my mom is going to join me in the effort. It's very exciting!
QOTW: I eat a lot of different things for breakfast. I usually have a latte with skim milk, and this morning I had some almonds...but sometimes it's a lowfat muffin, a crumpet with spray butter, some yogurt with fruit etc. I find that if I eat too much for breakfast that I 'give up' on the rest of the day.
Good luck everybody!
It's not a gain! So that's something to be happy about!
You know what helped me with the breakfast thing... carnation instant breakfast! They're actually really yummy! I started drinking them again when i was pregnant for the extra folic acid too.

Yogurt or oatmeal is good! Even if it is a little later in the morning.

I am gained 2 pounds this week, but I will blame it on my birthday and weekend of celebrating out of town!
As far as breakfast goes, I like to eat fruit for breakfast. I used to do toast with peanut butter sometimes to get my protein, but now it seems to depend on when I wake up and what we have around the house. Like this morning I woke up late so I have breakfast/lunch together and I had leftovers from last night.
I'm not a big breakfast person, but I got alot better when I was pg about eating healthy breakfast every day and that habit has kind of carried over to now!
