According to their Facebook page, babysteals is having Ergo carriers for sale tomorrow - apparently the last time they were $60-70, which is a great price (normally they're ~$100). Wish they shipped to Australia because I'd be all over this one!
Well I got mine for $94, incl shipping and with no tax. Black with camel lining. Not bad. I hope they sell accessories that match, because I'd be all over that!
I still don't regret NOT getting an Ergo the last time they were on BS. I saw them with enough time to purchase but I just didn't like the prints! Still, sounds like it'll be a crazy stealing day!

Something Dad would wear? That screams Sport to me.... Or something plain.
I got ours at Yellbaby.com which Lori found a while back. It took them FOREVER to ship it but I finally got it. It says they do ship internationally but I'm not sure what the total shipping would be?
great tip, hope someone gets an ergo that wants one... i'm still not fond of the colors/prints they have up today.... i did purchase the black one last time they were up but then found the ergo too bulky for my taste...so i sold it on craigslist (for a profit of $10 no less!)

I have the grey galaxy ergo (grey with stars) - bought at a local store. BS had the matching attachable changing pad thing one day so I was thinking they might put up the galaxy ergo today. My DH would probably like the plain black one better but has no problem with the stars, he helped me pick it out.
Same prints except for the Blue one is new. I sort of like the blue one, but think the embroidery is totally NOT dad friendly! My DH would not wear any of them. So I'm very happy with our black/camel one!

yeah they did not have the blue one last time. it is definitely more DH friendly than the black one IMO but it still has flowers on it i think it also depends on YH...i am almost always the one to wear her, not him, so we don't really need a "DH friendly" carrier after all

same here - DH always just says what is the big deal - I'll just carry him (no carrier). But when he was home all day with Jack for 3 days he did start to use the ergo and w/out fully admitting it did say it was nice to be hands free to get stuff done.
He keeps asking when we will get a hiking carrier (like this). I guess hiking apparatus/anything for REI is "manly"?
I got the black one from last time because I had planned to take off
the embroidery. But when I got it, it didn't look bad at all and I
surprisingly liked it. I was going to take off the embroidery for MH
anyway but he actually discouraged me from taking off the embroidery
because he didn't care and he thought I should leave the product as is. And in reality, the big butterfly in the middle was the main issue for me...but it's on the side of the hood that faces the baby so no one can ever see it and I use the hood all the time so it actually just looks black with a bit of embroidery on the side.
It was at such a good price too so I'm pretty happy I made the purchase.

My DH would wear them if he had to, but they definitely wouldn't be his first choice. Not sure why they were pushing the "your DH would totally wear one!" angle for these, because yeah, I wouldn't say they're terribly Dad-friendly! How disappointing...
Re: PSA: Ergos on babysteals tomorrow (today? time difference is confusing me lol)
Again? So quickly after last time? Wow...

Oooh this is a good deal too! Where did you get yours?
They've said that the ones they'll be selling on BS will be "something Dad would wear" so I'm wondering if they'll have the black vs all the prints?

Oh, MH wants this soooo hard!
