Only in the last couple weeks... I'll put her down in a sitting position, and she'll crawl/flop/roll around on the floor, get back in the sitting position, move around some more, sit up again... she's only REALLY been doing it consistently in the last few days.
I am wondering when this is suppose to start doing this as well. She will get into crawling position and then get frustrated once she can't go anywhere else. She doesn't think to sit herself back up.

Abby figured it out a few days before crawling. She got stuck in reverse one day and it was an accident LOL But my nephew didnt learn until almost a month after he started crawling.
My daugher just started doing this a few days ago at 7 months 1 week. She cannot crawl, but has been rocking on her hands and knees for a couple of weeks now.
They day after he started crawling he learned to do this.
this...
my LO was really late with rolling over and once he did that (at 7 months), only a few days later he started crawling and the following day he sat up.. now he's walking along side the couch -SOOOooo not ready for this!
he will do it on his own time. My LO is so late w/ certain things and other things he's a pro.
