I voted hell no - although I could care less about the pregnancy weight. I work at an institution and DH doesn't even like the fact that I come here - I'm certain he won't want me to bring the baby here. Plus, I'm not really close with any of my co-workers.

I said yes because I am friends with my coworkers and know they would kill me if I didn't bring the baby in. Every time one of us has a kid, they bring him/her and show them off.
I do work at a jail, but obviously the baby will only be in the Records section and in the back away from the public's viewing. Basically only the people that work in Records will see him and if they have been in the booking area at all, they will not touch him. We are good about watching out for that.

I voted no but its closer to hell no...I work for a drug rehab and I don't even like being there aorund the germs so there's no way I'm bringing our babies there...and there's one coworker I just cant stand. But the others can come to the house later, big maybe though. But I'll make sure we send a few photos...

My CW's have been super supportive and they are also throwing me a work baby shower so not under obligation but just because, I plan on bringing LT in.
I picked special snowflake. I work in the ED of the hospital where I am delivering, so likely coworkers will come to me to see the baby. Otherwise, I plan on doing a drive-by through the department on the way out. I don't plan on purposely bringing the baby into the germ infested hospital before at least 3-4 months old.

Special snowflake--My baby was preemie. So he is not out of the hospital yet. I have sent pictures by email.
I am on six week maternity leave. My security pass did not work when I tried to show up to see people and as well to give my forms for insurance to HR. So this has kinda made me more hesitant to show up during six week maternity leave--I have heard that they do not want you to work at all during maternity leave--and I have a tendency to talk about work even when I am not working.
But when baby is past estimated due date and older, I will bring the baby by when I feel like the baby can handle more of a crowd and a louder environment--I work on the phone--a little worried that baby will cry or be fussy--and that can be easily overheard on the phone.

I voted Special Snowflake. I work in a 13-person office of all women, so I'd probably be in big trouble if I didn't bring baby in. However, I expect that I'd probably bring him/her to a staff meeting a week or two before I return to work, so baby would be about 2 months old. 13 days old would be waaaay too early to make the trek. Pix will just have to do in the meantime.

The people who are friends from work will see our baby without me bringing him/her down there. Plus, I don't have one set location anymore so I would hate to travel around to 10 different stores just to AW my kid.

I voted maybe... I'm not sure... I am not really that close to any of my co-workers but they did throw me a shower. But I am not planning on taking LO out until he is a month old... I dunno maybe I am just old school but I always thought/heard that babies should come out until they are at least 1 month old...

its beauty and glory
belong to our world.
But then it flies on again.
And though we wish it could have stayed
we feel so lucky to have seen it.

Nope. You won't be able to get me in that building during my leave! My friends at work will be invited over to check him out, but that's it. Near the end of my leave or after I come back I might AW him for an hour at work, but that is it.

Nope, one of my coworkers brought in her less than week old baby and I was just not okay with that. I'm also not really a showoff type person so it's against my nature to do something like that.
