Hey everyone, I've only been on this board for a short time, but I've had a rough day and need to reach out.
I am currently trying to pass the CPA exam and there are 4 sections, I have 2 down and I was waiting on the scores for the other 2. I need to have all 4 sections passed by October 1 to get a promotion at work, so I've been working hard, but I just found out today that I didn't pass the two I was waiting for. A passing score is 75 and I got a 72 on one and a 74 on the other, so close! Such a bummer!!! I have one more chance to take both between now and October 1. It sucks because I had my m/c a couple weeks before I took the 2 exams, and I know that greatly effected my studying and lead to me failing the exams. I guess I just need some words of support to help get me through the day. It doesn't help that I'm waiting for my BFP right now, AF should be coming at the end of this week if I'm not pregnant, and now I'm in just such a negative place about everything.
Anyone familiar with the CPA exam, or even those who are not and just understand failing an exam, anything can help right now! Thanks for at least reading my rant, I guess it has just helped to get it off my chest if nothing else.
Re: Need some words of support (Not TTC related)
I have no help with the CPA side of things, but you can do this! I mean, you already have practice.

Ah bummer!!! I'm so sorry. I know how that feels.
I failed my FINRA/NASD series 63 exam the first time I took it (and it was part of my job). Passing was 70% (at the time)...I got a 68%. However, I think because of that failure I have overestimated/over-studied, and hence, passed every FINRA/NASD licensing exam I've taken since then.
The good news is, for the next time you take the exam, you'll go in there more confident, since you know what to expect. When they give you your score, do they give you a breakdown on how your scored in each "subject"? If so, that will allow you to tailor your studying for your next time. Hugs. I know next time you'll get it. A few percentage points is totally doable!

I just found out today I didn't pass so I signed up (an paid, yuck) to take them again today. I'll get approved to take them again in a couple days vie email, then I will have to go on and schedule the appointments. They test on a "2 months on" then "1 month off" basis, so testing is open in July and August and then you can't test in September. So I will prob set-up one for late July and one for mid-August. It just sucks to have to go back to studying again, it drains your life!
But thanks to everyone for the kind words! I really appreciate it!
