PARENTS - I beg you

Please check this website frequently, I just learned that CPS does not contact parents when their children are being abused at daycare facilities. They simply put it on this sight and it is the parents responsibility to check, so please make sure to check it often!

Re: PARENTS - I beg you

  • You aren't alerted when your own child is abused? That is beyond wrong.

Dx: PCOS and short luteal phase
18 cycles (3 with our RE) - Metformin + Clomid + HCG booster did the trick!

    Yep.

Our Godson's daycare teachers were both fired a few weeks ago & no one would tell his Mom why.  Finally she got it out of another teacher at the school who had a child in the same class that GS had been spanked several times by the one of the teachers.  The administration at the school flat out refused to tell her what happened, until she specifically asked "Did the teacher hit my son?"

GS was adopted through CPS, his mother signed an agreement that no one would ever spank him.  She wants to adopt another baby now, but has decided to delay indefinitely b/c if CPS asks GS if he's ever been spanked & he says yes, she'll get black-listed from further adoptions.

I am so sorry to hear that, with the experience I have had with the CPS, they would only ask that the teacher be fired anyways. Once the teacher is fired they consider the case closed.

  • This really scares me. Especially with having a LO who is too young to speak. At least older kids can tell you what happened at school.

Exactly, however if the teacher is punishing all of the children this way they may not tell you...
